March 19, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. – The devs of WoW: The War Within cleared up some ambiguities about the new “Butcher” hero talent tree for warriors. In the Blade Storm, it's not just the weapon warrior who becomes more dangerous.
Recently, the developers of WoW: The War Within presented 12 new ones Hero talent trees, which means that a total of 28 of these mini talent trees for the upcoming expansion are now known. For the first time, the so-called Butcher-Hero talent tree (English “Slayer”) shown, which the weapons and fury playstyle of the warrior have access to.
The Slayer tree focuses on Execute bonuses, but also on the AoE ability Blade Storm. Thanks to a new hero talent, you can even solve one every now and then Mini-Klingensturm out of. You will soon be able to during both the normal Blade Storm and the small version Stun and interrupt opponents. The devs confirmed this in a Blue post in the forum.
Stunning and kicking in Bladestorm – also for fury warriors
The Hero Talent Frenetic Storm says: Overwhelm (Weapons) and Bloodthirst (Fury) have a chance to unleash a short Blade Storm that hits each enemy around you once. You can now 'Slam' and 'Stormbolt' insert, while Bladestorm is active.
The developers later clarified that you can also use Strike and Storm Bolt with the normal Blade Storm and that the Mini Blade Storm does not trigger an additional GCG Global Cooldown.
Warrior connoisseurs will immediately ask themselves what this actually looks like for the fury warrior. Because this playing style of the warrior actually has no access to Blade Storm. Similar to other Hero Talents of the Warrior and other classes, the developers will ensure that the Fury Warrior also benefits from this Hero Talent. Therefore the Fury Warrior gets Access Bladestorm through the Fury talent tree.
