Who would have thought? Red Dead Redemption 2 is getting some love again 18 months since the last update. Last Tuesday, Rockstar Games rolled out the next title update 1.32 for the PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4 platforms. The previous update 1.31 was released in September 2022. However, there is a big difference between the two versions. While new content was added to Red Dead Redemption 2 a year and a half ago, the fresh update only focuses on game stability.

Some discussants in the Red Dead Redemption subreddit are currently disappointed with the new update and would have liked other changes or even new content. Reddit user “jfaliszek” writes: “It's frustrating to see that they are still doing maintenance but don't want to add online content to the story or create a quality of life update.”
The user “Stickymanic” was hoping that the patch would be some kind of “60 fps update”. In his opinion, a maximum of 30 fps in Red Dead Redemption 2 for consoles in 2024 is underground. Some of the fans no longer need to have their hopes too high, because in the summer of 2022 Rockstar Games announced that it would no longer be releasing any major content updates for Red Dead Online.
