The Taiwanese manufacturer Enermax has now introduced the new PlatiGemini, the first power supply ever to combine 80 Plus Platinum certification as well as the ATX 3.1 and ATX12VO standards. In terms of nominal power, 1,200 watts are delivered and are therefore aimed at absolute enthusiasts who want to operate an Nvidia Geforce RTX 4090 and its successor generation with overclocking.
Revolution DF 12 is followed by PlatiGemini
After the new power supplies from the Revolution DF 12 series, which compete in the power classes with 750 and 850 watts, Enermax is sending a real enthusiast power supply into the race with the PlatiGemini, which is currently only available with 1,200 watts. The fully modular power supply already supports the Intel ATX 3.1 and ATX12VO standards and also has an extremely powerful 2nd generation 12VHPWR connection (“12V-2×6”).
