It is undeniable that Honor made a few splashes at MWC 2024, more specifically by presenting its brand new Magic 6 Pro, a top-of-the-range smartphone that, despite sharing many of the technical specifications with all other top-of-the-range references, which of course, make this device something super high-end, but still significantly cheaper compared to all this same 'key' competition.
After all, the Honor Magic 6 Pro costs €1,299, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max costs €1,499, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra also costs €1,499, without ever forgetting the recently launched Xiaomi 14 Ultra, which also costs €1,499. €.
Now you might think that this smartphone is cheaper, because it offers “less”. Well… You would be wrong!
Honor wants to start hitting the ground running. It achieves!?
Therefore, if Honor is not successful in Portugal, it is not for lack of effort!
After all, if not for the ratings and incredible reviews it has been receiving after its most recent launch, it could also be for the strong investment it has made in our market through Portuguese operators. In case you didn't know, it is still here that manufacturers are winning the hearts of fans of the world of smartphones in this small country planted by the sea. (Which is exactly why Google also made a big and ugly bet with Vodafone with the Pixel 8 range of devices!)
Want an example? The brand new Magic6 Pro is now available on the Vodafone points page (Clube Viva) with a very interesting discount, which basically takes 50% off the price of Honor's top-of-the-range device.
In addition to Vodafone, you will be able to find this Honor smartphone on other commercial surfaces, at extremely interesting prices, such as Amazon.
In short, Honor is making an extremely interesting bet, to try (little by little) to conquer its place among the big ones. Maybe it's still too early to put Honor alongside Samsung and Apple, but Xiaomi… It could be a matter of time, if Xiaomi doesn't keep innovating and meeting consumer demands.
