Recently made official on Prime Video, this science fiction series adapted from a major video game license offers a first glimpse. A previously unpublished extract before the broadcast scheduled for April 11.
Fallout arrives in series
Since 2004, Bethesda has had the rights to the Fallout series, a big name in PC role-playing games from the late 90s. With the change of ownership, the saga moved to 3D and in a first-person view, like the majority of the developer's productions. Even the license took a leap forward with an experience designed for multiplayer with Fallout 76… which is far from having convinced everyone.
At present, the future of the series seems to be looking towards a Fallout 5 which we are not close to playing. After Starfield, Bethesda is now busy on The Elder Scrolls 6, which doesn't seem close to seeing the light of day either. Fortunately, fans have plenty to keep them busy. Recently, we learned that Prime Video was going to produce a Fallout series adapted from the Bethesda universe and the latter was scheduled for broadcast on April 11. But just before its release, the IGN site was treated to an exclusive extract to get a first look.
It looks like vault dweller de-escalation tactics don’t have the same effect in the Wastleland. But, while Lucy (Ella Purnell) may be no match for The Ghoul on her own, she receives unexpected help in this exclusive scene from Prime Video’s upcoming Fallout series: pic.twitter.com/VYr2tv6zM8

In this very first full extract, we can see Lucy, played by Ella Purnell, who is an inhabitant of one of the Shelters who discovers the real world outside. In this sequence, she faces a ghoul in a rather comical face-to-face. Our heroine so much reasons with her opponent through dialogue, with very institutional formulas, which completely contrasts with the reality of the real world. As she shoots him an arrow which does absolutely nothing to him, the young woman is narrowly saved by a man who arrives in one of the franchise's iconic power armors. In an extract, we can see that the show relies heavily on fanservice, by highlighting all the known elements of Fallout in a single scene. On social networks, opinions are divided between those who are already hyped, “it looks crazy”, we can read, and those who are more doubtful. In any case, answer on April 11 on Prime Video.
