Carl Pei's brand is now making the first major update available for its latest model: Nothing Phone (2a).
The upgrade promises to improve camera performance, smoother games and also fix some bugs.
These are the new features of the Nothing OS 2.5.4 update
Improving camera performance seems to be the main mission of this new update that arrives under the name Nothing OS 2.5.4. The brand says that improvements will occur in color accuracy, saturation and general performance.
Nothing highlights that the upgrade will bridge the gap between the primary and ultra-wide-angle sensors, improving color consistency. What's more: Bokeh effects, in portrait mode, and Ultra XDR photos will be equally optimized.
Gaming fans have not been forgotten either and this update brings with it smoother animations when entering or exiting applications. There will also be an increase in gameplay performance, with popular titles like BGMI benefiting from this improvement.
As for bugs, this update will resolve several issues. According to information released by Nothing, flickering problems will be resolved when launching applications from the lock screen.
Incorrect wallpaper displays, incorrect Wi-Fi data and/or mobile network information in the quick settings menu will also be resolved with the new update.
Last but not least, bugs related to general system stability and screen dimming during calls will also now be resolved.
All users can confirm the availability of the new update in the Settings menu, in the System update option.
