OnePlus has just renewed its mid-range smartphone offering with a very interesting proposal. The OnePlus Ace 3V was finally revealed today and brings a breath of fresh air to this segment of the Chinese company.
The OnePlus Ace 3V brings with it an even more elegant design, with its main novelty being its new rear camera module. Still, this model makes headlines mainly for its brand new processor.
OnePlus Ace 3V debuts Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3
The engine of this smartphone is the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, Qualcomm's latest mid-range SoC also unveiled today. This is the best processor in this range ever developed by the North American company, embracing technologies present in the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Firstly, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 was developed on 4nm lithography and features high-processing Cortex-X4 cores. According to Qualcomm, this gives a 15% increase in CPU performance, 45% improvements in graphics performance and is 5% more energy efficient.
The Snapdragon 7+ Gne 3 is also the first in its range to support locally processed Artificial Intelligence. This means that brands will be able to use this component to implement AI features that we see on top of the Android range.
Returning to the OnePlus Ace 3V, this means that the smartphone will have performance very close to a high-end. This will give this model a smooth and smooth performance that will delight all its users.
It is also important to note that the OnePlus Ace 3V comes with 12 or 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM. In terms of storage, we have 256 or 512 GB UFS 4.0.
Regarding the screen, the OnePlus Ace 3V comes with a 6.74-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1240 x 2772 pixels. It has a 120 Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colors and a peak brightness of 2150 nits.
New camera module has two sensors and an LED flash
As already mentioned, one of the main aesthetic novelties of the OnePlus Ace 3V is its camera module. It abandons the circular layout of recent years to appear more discreet with a vertical alignment of its components.
In fact, we have a 50 MP Sony IMX882 main sensor with image stabilization and an 8 MP wide-angle sensor with a 112º viewing angle. On the front, housed in a small hole, we have a 16 MP camera.
The OnePlus Ace 3V arrives with a 5500 mAh battery with 100 W SuperVOOC fast charging. According to OnePlus, this allows a full charge (from 0% to 100%) in just 26 minutes.
To combat battery overheating during the process, the company placed a chip specifically designed to better manage the heat generated. It is also important to note the presence of IP 65 certification against water and dust.
The OnePlus Ace 3V will be available for sale in China for prices starting at the equivalent of €255. This model is also expected to arrive in Europe under the name OnePlus Nord 4.
