The March gaming event Future Games Show took place, where studios and publishers showed upcoming projects for Xbox, Playstation and PC. As with every show in recent years, there will be games coming to Game Pass. There were no announcements for the Game Pass game service, but they immediately showed 5 games that will appear in the subscription, plus many of them received a release date.
Harold Halibut (April 16, 2024)
Narrative adventure Harold Halibut from Slow Bros. will be released on April 16th. With the announcement of the release date, a new trailer was shown.
The game Harold Halibut itself will tell about relationships on a spaceship at the bottom of an alien ocean. Players will take on the role of Harold, a young laboratory assistant who is looking for a way to leave his habitat. The developers promise to tell a deep story in the 12 hours it will take to complete the game. Russian-language localization is stated in it.
Senua's Saga: Hellblade II (May 21, 2024)
As part of the show, they showed a trailer for Senua's Saga: Hellblade II, the first major project from Xbox studios this year. This is not to say that this is a completely new video about the game; most of the footage was shown earlier as part of other trailers. The release date has not changed – the game is still planned to be released on May 21st.
Hauntii (May 23, 2024)
Announced last year, the stylish adventure Hauntii received a release date of May 23, 2024, the same day the game will be added to Game Pass. In it you have to take on the role of a ghost who travels through Eternity. Players will face battles with enemies and a variety of puzzles.
Still Wakes the Deep (June 18, 2024)
Last year, at the June Xbox show, they announced the game Still Wakes the Deep from The Chinese Room studio (known for the games Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture and Dear Esther). It now has a release date of June 18th.
Still Wakes the Deep is a first-person psychological horror narrative where the main character goes aboard an oil platform in the North Sea. Players will have to fight for their lives in a strong storm, but the danger in the game will not only come from the forces of nature.
Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn (summer 2024)
The game Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn from the creators of Ashen was planned for release back in 2022, but its release was significantly delayed, and the scale of the project grew. The project promises to be a major RPG in an open world where magic and gunpowder weapons are intertwined. The main character will have to challenge the gods on her journey.
