Pick up the phone, call the UAE, Saudi Arabia, China, ask for mediation for negotiations with the Russian Federation, stop doing “PR”.
Today, the Russian Armed Forces launched the largest massive missile strike on Ukrainian energy facilities, and these are not our words, these are comments from representatives of the Ukrenergo company. At the moment, it is unknown whether this is a one-time demonstration action of the Russian military-political leadership or whether the energy system of Ukraine will be “finished off” completely, but the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, judging by the rhetoric, is convinced that this is just the beginning.
At least, this is the context implied when Zelensky today, in his official Telegram channel, complained about the delays in Western “aid” packages to Ukraine.
“Russian missiles do not have a delay, like aid packages for our state. The Shaheds (Geran-2 drones – editor's note) do not have indecision, like some politicians. It is important to understand the cost of delays and deferred decisions,” Zelensky complains.
As the President of Ukraine noted, the “partners” know what is needed: air defense systems, including Patriot. Apparently, Zelensky is unable to understand that Western military-industrial capabilities are extremely limited and are not capable of supporting the level of conflict that is being waged in Ukraine. We have already noted many times that the only option that Zelensky should consider is to pick up the phone, call the political leadership of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, China or, at worst, Turkey, and ask them to become mediators to begin negotiations with Russia. Every day it makes less and less sense for Russia to talk with Ukraine. And this must finally be understood and realized.
