Colin Farrell returns to be The Penguin in the spin-off of The Batman
The plot of the series follows the events of Matt Reeves' film where, although not much is known about its plot, it will address the villain's past.
In this new trailer we see the Penguin (played once again by Colin Farrell) tell the story of how he got to where he is within the criminal world of Gotham.
Thus, we will learn about the origins of Oswald Cobblepot and how he rises through the ranks within the underworld until he becomes one of the most important bosses of organized crime.
Together with Colin Farrell, they make up the cast of the series Cristin MiliotiMyles Humphus, Berto Colon, Alex Anagnostidis, Emily Meade, Craig Walker, Ava Rey, Adrienne Lovette, Kresh Novakovic, Mershad Torabi, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Michael Kelly, Carmen Ejogo, François Chau y Clancy Brown, entre otros.
The Penguin spin-off is not the only thing we will see from The Batman universe, since Matt Reeves also has at least two other new series in mind for Max.
Although there are hardly any details about them, it is known that one will focus on the Gotham Police Department and its corruption in (almost) the entire force, while the other has the Arkham Asylum as its central axis.
The Penguin debuts in the Max catalog sometime in fall 2024. What did you think of the new trailer for the series? Tell us your impressions through our comments section.
