In Larian's future there will be no expansions or sequels to Baldur's Gate 3, but that doesn't mean that the Belgian software house's next project won't be equally ambitious. The boss of the Larian team reiterated this, Swen Vinckeduring an interview intended to spark discussion among the community.
Having a chat with GameSpot journalists, the top exponent of the development house that bought GOTY with Baldur's Gate 3 does not hide his intention to create “a great role-playing game that will make any other RPG pale in comparison“, including the masterpiece set in the Forgotten Realms which saw the light in recent months on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series
Again based on what Vincke claimed, the launch of the project in question will be preceded by a further title about which, however, he prefers to maintain the strictest confidentiality. Finally returning to the great role-playing game that 'will make Baldur's Gate 3 seem tiny, the greatest exponent of Larian studies claims that “the technology needed to develop it has not yet been created. And frankly, I don't even know if the specifications of the next generation (of consoles and PC gaming hardware, ed.) will include that technology, but I really hope they will come close.”
And you, what do you think of Vincke's statements? Before leaving you to the comments, we invite you to stay on the pages of Everyeye.it to read our analysis of Baldur's Gate 3 on PlayStation 5 between controls, hud, graphics, how it runs and what changes compared to the PC version.
