Anyone who is currently looking for a fast AM5 processor from AMD should have the Ryzen 7 7800X3D on their wish list. Amazon of all companies offered an interesting price this morning, which Mindfactory countered.
Fight for the best price
The 8-core with 3D V cache is currently available for 349 euros, which is even cheaper than all other recent offers. Even Mindfactory, usually the undisputed authority on best prices for AMD CPUs, was still above the Amazon price this morning. The observed automatic pricing now ensures that MF starts at 348 euros. Both providers are fighting for the best price. If you are looking at the euro, you should take a closer look at the shipping conditions of both offers. The question is also how long this price war will last.
Price development: 7800X3D
The AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D continues to be one of the most popular high-end processors in gaming. While the best offers for the CPU could still be found, especially in November 2023 – here the eight-core CPU briefly slipped to its historic low price of 343 euros – the price trend has been upward, especially in the weeks since the turn of the year. In between, the CPU approached the 400 euro mark again. In the meantime, however, at least from the buyer's perspective, things are improving again and the price has fallen below the 350 euro line again.
As part of PCGH Plus, PCGH has published many tuning and test articles for AMD's eight-core processor, which is also popular in the PCGH community. This means you can either make the best possible purchase decision or make the most of your CPU. We recommend, among other things, the collection of testing, tuning and efficiency tips for the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D. In addition, PCGH has tested a total of 18 AM5 motherboards for Ryzen 7000 and released them as part of PCGH Plus.
