Huawei has officially unveiled the global versions of the Nova 12 series smartphones, which entered the Chinese market at the end of last year. We are talking about Nova 12s, Nova 12i and Nova 12SE smartphones.
The devices, which will be available to customers outside the Chinese market, have many differences from the original models, including the lack of the ability to send messages via satellite communications, which was implemented in the Nova 12 Pro and Nova 12 Ultra for the home market.
The Nova 12s is a global version of the base Nova 12 Lite. The new product offers an updated main camera unit compared to the previous generation models and fresh body color options, including an option with a petal texture in Nova Blue.
At the same time, the Nova 12i is a rebranding of the Enjoy 70 Pro, which is built on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 microprocessor. As for the Nova 12SE, it is a global version of the Chinese Nova 11SE, which never appeared outside the home market in 2023.
All three models are equipped with 6.7-inch displays supporting Full HD+ resolution. At the same time, the Nova 12s uses a panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and the other two models have a panel with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. All three devices come with the proprietary EMUI 14 interface. Despite the fact that Huawei has officially announced the imminent global launch of Nova 12 smartphones, their retail price has not been announced.
