The pretty trailer for the game Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra was not pre-rendered, but in real time in Unreal Engine 5.
At this year's Game Developers Conference, Amy Hennig, who is known, among other things, for her work on the Uncharted-Reihe became known, more about the new action-adventure Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra.
The title is being developed by the studio Skydance New Media, which was co-founded by Amy Hennig and is currently also working on an as yet unknown Star Wars title.
Hennig made it clear again that all scenes from the trailer In-Engine were presented, in this case in the Unreal Engine 5.
A virtual camera then illuminated the occupied Paris in which the event took place in more detail. Using Nanite, a method for rendering 3D graphics, dynamic, high-resolution and complex details can be rendered on relatively low-geometry surfaces and areas.
Using a conversation between two important characters in the game, Captain America and Black Panther, it was demonstrated again towards the end that all of the scenes from the reveal trailer were actually not pre-rendered and complete Real time were presented.
The title is initially scheduled to be released in 2025, but it is still unknown which platforms the game will appear on. In the video linked below you can see for yourself the impressive capabilities of Unreal Engine 5 from minute 6:50 onwards.
