While the controversy continues over the microtransactions of Dragon's Dogma 2, which allows players to purchase numerous contents, we have decided to explain how to get your hands on every single item on sale as DLC completely free of charge.
Camping set for explorers
The Explorer Camping Set differs from those found in the game only in terms of aesthetics. Throughout the adventure you will be able to collect numerous Camping Sets, one of which can be collected at Vernworth: rest at the inn and, when you wake up, you can collect one of these sets.
Temporary prison key
In addition to being able to be purchased, the Temporary Prison Key (which helps you escape) can be found during a quest. Following Brant's mission, you will find yourself visiting the prison of Vernworth looking for a master: once there, you can find one of these keys in the storage room on the same floor as the cells. Alternatively, you can purchase one for 3,000 gold pieces at Dudley, the merchant with the large backpack who stands at the edge of the ruined village. Once you get your hands on the key, you can use the forge to create infinite duplicates without ever having to purchase it as DLC.
Art of metamorphosis/Incense of ambivalence
In Dragon's Dogma 2 there are special consumables that allow the player to change the appearance of the character (Art of Metamorphosis) or the personality of the Pawns (Incense of Ambivalence). In both cases, players can avoid resorting to microtransactions to purchase these consumables with the Rift Crystals accumulated by playing. In this regard, at the center of Vernworth there is a merchant who sells both items.
Telecrystal
Just like in the first chapter of the Capcom series, also in Dragon's Dogma 2 you can use Telecrystals, very precious objects whose use allows you to generate a destination for fast travel. Although purchasing numerous items of this type significantly simplifies the game, it is still possible to obtain several by playing. Some quests guarantee a Telecrystal as a reward and the most attentive players can keep it to make the most of it: we will avoid giving spoilers, but there is a special mechanic to duplicate objects and you could take advantage of it to multiply your Telecrystals.
Smoke signal attracts harpies
Having a harpy-attracting Smoke Signal is always useful, as it allows you to attract a harpy that does not attack party members, but allows them to cling to its legs and fly for a distance: it is therefore a great help when you need to cross a river or get around some other obstacle. Just like other consumables, those who don't want to buy one can simply find some lying around, since it's a rather common consumable which is also found in the chests. They're even there merchants that allow you to purchase some.
Dragon Heart
An attentive Dragon's Dogma 2 player always saves their progress, so that they can reload in case one of the characters loses their life. If this is not possible, you can resort to the use of the precious Dragon Hearts, consumables that can be purchased or found around the game world. More specifically, players can find the Dragon Heart fragments and, once three are collected, they will be combined to form one of these consumables. These resources can be found in chests, completing certain missions or eliminating enemies (in the form of a random drop).
Crystals of the Fault
The premium currency of Dragon's Dogma 2, namely the Rift Crystals, can also be accumulated by playing. The main method to obtain them is to wait for other players to use your Pawns: the more time other users spend with your avatar, the greater the quantity of Rift Crystals that will be sent to you as a reward. Also know that this currency can be obtained by activating Portals, opening some chests and, with a bit of luck, eliminating enemies.
As you may have noticed, there is no in the list Pendant of affection, an object that the protagonist of Dragon's Dogma 2 can give to another character to strengthen his bond with him. The fact that this element cannot be obtained without paying is not a big problem, since it is just a system to ignore a particular mechanic which consists in improving relationships with NPCs progressively and therefore you will not have any need for it.
