As you well know by now, Microsoft has decided to change its strategy and recently announced the arrival of four Xbox games on PlayStation. According to what was declared by a famous journalist, however, in the future all the titles of the Redmond giant will also be available on Sony platforms.
To date, there has only been talk of selected productions arriving on PlayStation 5, but this could change in the future. It was revealed Christopher Dring, head of the Gamesindustry.biz portal who has already shown in the past that he is aware well in advance of some upcoming news. Dring claims to have heard from a large publisher considered very reliable and from a publisher of independent productions that Xbox Series X|S game sales are dramatically lowso much so that more and more publishers are deciding not to support Microsoft consoles or not to publish Xbox games in physical format.
According to the gaming journalist, this market dynamic will cause Microsoft to increasingly support other platforms, up to publish all its games on PlayStation 5 as well to cover increasingly higher production costs.
