It is undeniable that the launch of Dragon's Dogma 2 was one of the most anticipated of this year, although unfortunately for Capcom it has not escaped controversy over its micropayments and the fact that its performance is not optimal enough. Still, the company has not ignored the criticism that have been deposited during these days, hence their intention to remedy it.
The official account of the saga has published a message on your X account (Twitter) in which he has announced that he is currently working on a good amount of improvements and new features which will become available on all platforms in the near future. Although it is unknown when they will arrive, they are some changes that have been highly requested by the gaming community.
Most of them focus on Optimize your performance in all versions, but one of the best additions that will be produced is an option to be able to start a game even if one already exists, which will avoid having to manually delete the internal files within the PC or consoles to do so. Here is the complete list of all confirmed updates:
Update on all platforms
Add an option to start a new game even if one already exists. Change the number of “Art of Metamorphosis” items available in stores to 99. Make the quest that allows players to purchase their own living quarters (where they can rest and save their game) available sooner in the game. Corrections in text display. Bug fixes.
Update on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S
Add an option to turn motion blur on or off. Add an option to turn ray-tracing on or off. Add an option to change the frame rate to variable or fixed at 30 fps.
Update on Steam
Improve quality when DLSS super resolution is activated. Fix an issue when some models appear in poorer quality in some specific situations.
Expanding the number of Art of Metamorphosis items is something that users will also love, since until now there was a mod dedicated to it, just as it is also a good point in favor that it is trying to improve the number of fps to which the game moves. Now all that remains is for Capcom to confirm the dates on which these future patches will be published.
