After the release with great fanfare of Palworld and the controversy it aroused, the developers expected a gradual desertion of the servers. However, quite the opposite is happening and it never ceases to amaze the players.
If we expected to see the title slowly abandoned by players, Pocket Pair's game nevertheless ensures a certain longevity. With more than 100,000 simultaneous players according to SteamDB, Palworld seems far from its supposed death, urging its developers to continue produce content regularly.

Far from taking his last breath
Far from more than two million simultaneous players recorded during its release, Palworld continues to attract players, even rising to more than 140,000 people at stake. With these figures, Palworld is still one of the most played games on Steam. This popularity could even increase further with the developer's announcements regarding future additions planned this year.
New raids, PVP, additional islands to explore, an improvement in the pals' AI… So much new content which will undoubtedly keep a significant number of active players. These updates may even attract even more users, wanting to benefit from the most complete version of the pokemon-killer. The game thus seems to be heading towards a certain sustainabilityfar from the premature death that his detractors predicted.
A busy life
Last month, Palworld's community manager, Bucky, spoke out about the drop in player numbers since the game's release. He, far from the usual speeches, declared that there was “nothing wrong to stop playing. There are so many amazing games to play,” he continued.
You don't have to feel guilty switching between games. If you're still playing Palworld, we love you. If you don't play anymore, we still love you, and we hope to see you again one day when you feel like it. @Bucky_cm (X)
The developers therefore do not take a dim view of the potential end of their game. If this is a message that we would like to be able to read more often, we must keep in mind that Pocket Pair does not only have Parworld under its belt. The developer continues its work on other games inspired by industry giants. Whether it's Craftopia (which strangely resembles Breath of the Wild), or even Never Grave: The Witch and the Curse, planned for this year and almost a copy of Hollow Knight, Pocket Pair does not seem ready to put a brake on its progress on the video game market.
