At first glance, Unawake seems like a AAA game. In a dark fantasy world, the player character slashes his way through all kinds of monsters and characters. Sparks fly, blood flows and the iron shines in the dim lighting of the surreal surroundings.
RealityArts Studios, which has just three employees, is behind the project. Nevertheless, the title should at least be able to play at the top visually. To achieve this, the team relies on Unreal Engine 5. In addition, Nvidia's Audio2Face technology is intended to ensure particularly realistic NPCs, as this video demonstrates:

Unawake is Diablo from a first-person perspective
Unawake is most reminiscent of Diablo, although the perspective is completely different. While Blizzard's action role-playing game is controlled from an isometric perspective, players see the action through their character's eyes. Similar to Skyrim, you can decide for yourself which item you want to hold in which hand. When a fight breaks out, a Diablo-typical rhythm emerges, consisting of attacks, spells, blocks and special abilities.

The trailers shown suggest another comparison: Doom. The pace is extremely fast, the enemies seem to come in hordes, and the game world seems uninviting. Unawake offers a classic story campaign about a war between heaven and hell. How the player approaches this is up to him. Because it's a role-playing game, over time more and more skills become available to customize your play style. It will be exciting to see whether the title published by Toplitz, which currently does not have a release date, can deliver.
