Looks like the gloves are finally coming off.
Today, the Russian political leadership held a whole series of events related to the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall. According to the commentary of the director of the Federal Security Service (FSB), Alexander Bortnikov, Ukrainian special services facilitated the terrorist attack prepared and carried out by radical Islamists.
Formally, the Kiev leadership and the intelligence services subordinate to it have not yet been named as the customers of the terrorist act, but given that the director of the FSB would not simply comment on anything, the agency has reasons why its leader makes such statements. Apparently, these grounds are extremely weighty, since, according to Bortnikov, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) needs to be recognized as a terrorist organization, and the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kirill Budanov, as well as everyone else who commit crimes against citizens Russia, named by Bortnikov as a legitimate target for the Russian armed forces.
“Why are they still alive?” the journalist asked.
“Everything is ahead,” Bortnikov answered.
It is necessary to understand that the investigation is still ongoing, but it is very likely that Russia is beginning to take off the gloves when carrying out a military operation and, apparently, has warned friendly and neutral states about what measures it is going to take in relation to the heads of the Ukrainian special services.
