Bad Boys: Ride or Die has a release date and a new trailer. Sony Pictures has in fact confirmed that the film will arrive in theaters on June 13, 2024, four years after Bad Boys for Life and almost thirty years after the release of the first film, dated 1995 and directed by Michael Bay. The film will once again star Will Smith and Martin Lawrence as Michael Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, this time wanted by the police.
Bad Boys: Ride or Die, first details on the film. Also in the cast is Rhea Seehorn from Better Call Saul
Also in the cast is Rhea Seehorn, here in the role of Kim Wexler in Better Call Saul
At the helm we find the two Belgian directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, known simply as Adil & Bilail and famous for having worked on Image, Gangsta and, above all, Bad Boys for Life. They also worked on Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, before handing over their role to Mark Molloy. The release of the latter, we remember, is very close to Bad Boys: Ride or Die.
Will Smith and Martin Lawrence aren't the only welcome returns to the franchise. The cast also includes Vanessa Hudgens (Kelly), Alexander Ludwig ((Dom), Paola Nunez (Rita Secada, Mike's ex-girlfriend), DJ Khaled (Manny the Butcher) and Jacob Scipio (Armando Aretas). The list grows with Tasha Smith, who will take over the role of Theresa Burnett, previously occupied by Theresa E. Randle, as well as Rhea Seehorn, Eric Ddane, Ioan Gruffudd and Joyner Lucas.
