Talking about a completely new design is always a bit of a… Empty story. After all, nowadays, all smartphones are a giant piece of glass at the front, aluminum in the middle, and a little more glass at the back.
The rear aesthetics can change a little with a different camera module, we can remove 1 or 2 millimeters of margin around the screen, and we can swap the buttons. It more or less ends here.
Still, Samsung decided that the time has come to make changes, and as 2024 is already advanced, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is already being tested hard and ugly in the Korean giant's laboratories.
Galaxy S25 Ultra already has 4 prototypes with new designs
Therefore, as there will be some changes, both interior and exterior, Samsung started working more diligently on the new Galaxy S25, more specifically on the Ultra version.
That said, taking into account the 4 renderings above, we don't have access to the new rear design. Just different versions of the screen that should give life to the new S25 Ultra. Interestingly, in all versions, we will have even smaller and thinner margins compared to the current S24 Ultra, but there are differences, especially in the overall size of the device.
Still, you can conclude that the front camera will continue to be visible, and of course, the rectangular shape is also about to continue.
As for specifications, the base version is expected to go up to 16GB of RAM, storage should also go up to 512GB. As for the SoC, we still don't know what Samsung wants to do, especially now that everything points to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen4 that is even more expensive than the already quite expensive Gen3. But it is expected that Samsung will continue to invest in an Exynos + Snapdragon strategy, with the best SoC in the combo giving life to the Ultra model.
