We've fought on many inhospitable planets since Helldivers 2 hit consoles and PC. Arrowhead Games Studio has achieved a good variety of settings: volcanic with fire tornadoes, wastelands similar to The Moon, jungles reminiscent of the jungles of Vietnam, completely frozen, etc. We were even on Mars during training!
SuperTierra, our home, remains one of the most mysterious destinations in Helldivers 2. We know it exists because it is located in the center of the War Map and has its own liberation marker. However, we cannot visit it because it is classified as an inactive planet, like the vast majority of those in the galaxy.
Even so, one player has managed to park his ship on SuperEarth and see it from orbit. It exists and looks playable! Some helldivers point out that this is possible thanks to a bug in the game during the tutorial. It can be forced by interrupting the latter and logging in, although it does not work 100%.

Players, including myself, were quick to show their interest in fighting on SuperEarth: “I won't lie. If they attack SuperEarth, fighting on the city streets will be great,” says urmovesareweak in comments. And it's true: fighting in the streets of our home seems very, very epic. It will be a canonical event in the history of Helldivers 2. “I am 100% sure that technically we can lose the war and end up fighting here,” says the author of the post.

In VidaExtra | The real final boss of Helldivers 2 is not inside the game: he is one of the developers and has the power to annoy us at any time
