A few weeks after the arrival of the first wave of Xbox games usable through the Boosteroid subscription, Microsoft is announcing other important news for those who use cloud services dedicated to gaming.
Through a post published on Xbox Wire, Microsoft announced the long-awaited arrival of the mouse and keyboard support for Xbox Cloud Gaming. At the moment, only Xbox Insiders will have access to the new feature, who will be able to start playing with mouse and keyboard in Edge, Chrome or in the Xbox app on Windows PC, almost two years after Microsoft announced that it was preparing to add the support.
Not all games will be supported during the preview, but there is a wide selection, including Fortnite, Sea of Thieves e Halo Infinite. Microsoft warns that some games will briefly display controller UI elements before adapting to mouse and keyboard input after you begin interacting with the game. Below is the list of games currently supported:
Fortnite (Browser only)
ARK Survival Evolved
Sea of Thieves
Grounded
Halo Infinite
Atomic Heart
Sniper Elite 5
Deep Rock Galactic
High on Life
Zombie Army 4 Dead War
Gears Tactics
Pentiment
Doom 64
Age of Empires 2
If you are interested in trying mouse and keyboard games in the versione browser di Xbox Cloud Gaming, you will need to be in full screen mode. This will allow the game to correctly capture the mouse pointer as input. If you instead want to exit mouse and keyboard mode and use an Xbox controller, just use the ALT+F9 shortcut.
