Although we hear a lot about the Switch 2, it still remains a mystery, as does its release date. In the meantime, you can always go for the Nintendo Switch or the Oled version. The latter is more recommendable thanks to the improvements it brings, such as its screen technology for example. It now becomes as affordable as the first model thanks to a promotional code valid only today.

Where to buy
Nintendo Switch OLED at the best price?
A screen that makes all the difference
The Switch OLED remains faithful to the DNA of the first models, but with some notable differences. Nintendo has managed to offer a larger screen area on this version, without changing the size of the console. We go from a diagonal of 7 inches compared to 6.2 inches previously. And don't worry, if the panel widens, you can always add the joy-cons of your classic Nintendo Switch.
In addition to the lengthening of the diagonal, we find Oled technology in order to have a more pleasant contrast, images with more beautiful and more vibrant colors. The display is also improved by the refinement of the edges allowing better immersion in the game. Once in hand, we feel that it has gained slightly weight (23 g more).
Some welcome adjustments, but still limited
In terms of design, the console is modernized. It is better finished and much more reliable in terms of the stand which occupies the entire width of the console for better support. Even the dock changes appearance with a white color and rounded edges, in addition to benefiting from an Ethernet port to speed up downloads.
On the other hand, we regret finding a screen limited to 720p (1280 × 720 pixels) in portable mode or 1080p on dock. Otherwise, inside, we are entitled to the Tegra X1+ chip, stolen from the 2019 model. It still remains a good investment, especially if you still have a 2017 model whose autonomy has become too tight. Note that the internal storage is doubled to reach 64 GB. Enough to benefit from larger storage to install the latest games from the Japanese firm's catalog.
