Punctual as always, Sony took advantage of the last Wednesday of the month to announce a new batch of games for PlayStation Plus Essential. Here's when the new “free” titles for April come out and how important they are!
When do the April 2024 PlayStation Plus Essential games release?
The PlayStation Plus Essential April 2024 lineup includes Immortals of Aveum, Minecraft Legends e Skul: The Hero Slayer. The wait won't be particularly long, since they will be made available to all PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers (and higher plans) starting from the morning of Tuesday 2 April until Monday 6 May.
This also means that Monday 1st April will be the last day to redeem the PlayStation Plus Essential games for March 2024, namely SIFU, F1 23, Hello Neighbor 2 and Destiny 2 Queen of Whispers. If you haven't done so yet, we recommend adding them to your collection now before it's too late. Forewarned, forearmed!
How much do the April 2024 PlayStation Plus Essential games weigh?
Immortals of Aveum: PS5 58,7 GB
Minecraft Legends: PS4 7.6GB – PS5 7GB
Skul The Hero Slayer: PS4 3.8 GB
The new monthly games for PlayStation Plus Essential should not cause you any particular problems. Immortals of Aveum certainly cannot be defined as a featherweight, but there are much larger triple A games out there and by now you should be used to managing video games in the order of a few dozen gigabytes. Minecraft Legends and Skul The Hero Slayer, for their part, are characterized by rather small and easily manageable dimensions.
