Remedy has revealed more details about Project Condor, which is a fixed-price live service game.
Under the code name Condor, Remedy is developing a co-op multiplayer game set in the world of Control. The developer has now revealed new details about the game in its latest financial report.
The game will enter full production this year. With a budget of 25 million euros, the game is being created in the Northlight Engine for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
The report describes Condor as follows: “After the Hiss invasion, the Oldest House is under lock and key: a seething pot of volatile and dangerous supernatural powers.”
“Caught inside is the last remnant of the Federal Bureau of Control, which must fight back to regain control. Desperate times call for desperate measures. And everyone is needed.”
“The Control franchise is bigger than one story or one character. With Codename Condor we invite players on a journey together into the depths of the Oldest House.”
“There they will face overwhelming enemies and obstacles, but if they rely on their equipment and each other, they have a chance of survival.”
Condor is not a free-to-play game, but a live service game with a fixed price.
Remedy wrote: “These are premium games that have a lower starting price but generate a long line of revenue through updates, game expansions and potential microtransactions.”
