The Ashlands update for Valheim is getting closer and closer and now the developers have given a sign of life again after some time. As Iron Gate reports, the team is mostly busy making bug fixes to the game and Ashlands. “Like any biome, Ashlands will feature several new mechanics, new materials, components and enemies, and it's important that all of this runs smoothly,” the developers explain in a post on Steam.
Lots of errors, soon release and new components
Fixing many bugs and problems also means that the release of the Ashlands update “is really not that far away now”. Until then, the developers have prepared some teasers regarding components that the Ashlands update will offer. Iron Gate has promised that the update will contain more than 50 components, while Mistlands is said to have had just over 35 components. Iron Gate presents some of these in the Steam article.

This includes a decorative window with new wood material, which will be accessible in the Ashlands biome. In the picture in the picture gallery, it is built together with regular wooden walls and black marble pieces. Also included in the Ashlands biome is a new floor section with diagonal boards.

In addition to handmade parts, the house can also be decorated in a natural way. The Ashlands update offers vines that can grow along the house. However, they grow everywhere, including over the door. These vines will even provide grapes to harvest, as the picture in the gallery proves.
