The new BioShock was announced in 2019 but has since completely disappeared from the radar. Where have you been? 2K Games indirectly mentioned the game in a social post as part of BioShock Infinite's 11th anniversary celebration.
Released on March 26, 2013, BioShock Infinite celebrated its eleventh birthday in the last few hours and 2K Games published a celebratory post on its social profiles. In response, many began to ask for news and information on the new BioShock game and the publisher commented with the emoticon of a chef. In other words? We are cooking and something is cooking, but we already knew this, so we will have to arm ourselves with patience while waiting for an official reveal. And what if the reference was to a remaster of BioShock Infinite?
Remaining at 2K Games, in these hours Take-Two has bought Gearbox and Borderlands, the studio will work under the 2K label (owned by Take-2) and in the press release announcing the acquisition there is clear talk of a new Borderlands game in development. The text speaks generically of “sequels” and therefore Borderlands 4 could be in the pipeline… will we know more during the year?
