If you are a trophy hunter and are close to Platinum Final Fantasy 7 Rebirthknow that an annoying bug has recently emerged that prevents some players from completing the game 100% to obtain the coveted reward.
It all started with the publication of the update to version 1.020 of the exclusive PlayStation 5. The update in question introduced numerous improvements from a graphic point of view, but at the same time revealed a bug relating to one of the last secondary missions. Owners of the Square Enix game cannot complete the sidequest intitolata ‘Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop’: the problem occurs in the advanced stages of the mission, as the player finds himself unable to exceed the score in the G-Bike simulator, a fundamental action to earn one of the many game trophies.
At the moment it is unlikely that this will be possible get around the problem, but some players have found a solution: it is possible to obtain the trophy by proceeding with a clean installation of the game from disc, obviously while the console is disconnected. Once the procedure is completed, you launch the game without installing the latest update and use a save previous to the one in which the bug occurred.
Although this procedure is perfectly functional, it can only be put into practice by owners of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth in physical version. In short, if you have the game in digital version you can't do anything but wait for the development team to publish a fix. If you're lucky and haven't updated the game yet, you can block the download and avoid the bug.
While waiting for an official solution, we remind you that physical sales of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth have dropped by 91% in Japan.
