After the success at the 2024 Oscars with Poor Creatures, Yorgos Lanthimos is already ready to direct a first-rate cast in the film coming out this summer. In Kinds of Kindness, the Greek director brings back to the screen the Oscar winner for best actress Emma Stone and supporting character Willem Defoe, respectively Bella and Godwin Baxter in Poor Things.
Kinds of Kindness: cast di prim’ordine
Not just Stone and Defoe. They are added to them Jesse Plemons (pictured between Stone and Defoe), Margaret Qualley (who we knew for the interpretation of Mama and Lockne in Death Stranding, but also present in Poor Things), Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn, Mamoudou Athie e Hunter Schafer (from the TV series Euphoria and the film Hunger Games: The Rime of the Nightingale and the Serpent).
The trailer – available at the bottom – doesn't reveal much about the film's plot. Rather a synopsis revealed. Kinds of Kindness is a “triptych of fairy tales that follows a man with no choice as he tries to take control of his life; a policeman alarmed by the fact that his wife, who disappeared at sea, has returned and seems like a different person; and a woman determined to find a specific person with a special ability, destined to become a spiritual leader.” However, we are certain that Kinds of Kindness will arrive at the cinema on June 21, 2024 in US cinemas.
He worked on the film anche Efthimis Filippou, who co-wrote the film with Lanthimos. Filippou had previously worked on The Lobster, The Sacrifice of the Sacred Deer and Dogtooth.
