The ban will come into force on March 29.
Streaming service Twitch is back adjusted rules regarding streams with explicit content. Starting from March 29, broadcasts during which the streamer draws attention to intimate parts of the body will be prohibited.
In the message, Twitch notes that only streams that focus on intimate parts of the body “over a long period of time” are subject to the ban. Judging by the rules of the platform, we are talking about the groin, chest or buttocks.
The rules do not specify how long these body parts can be displayed without receiving a ban. According to 80lv, in this way Twitch is fighting against broadcasts during which streamers display footage from the game directly on their bodies.
Twitch last restricted explicit content in January 2024. Then the use of black stripes and objects with which streamers covered their nudity was banned.
