The presence of security questions in vacancies reduces the number of responses by 20%.
This was reported by the anonymous job search service Djinni.
Over the past 30 days, 36.5 thousand candidates responded to almost 13 thousand vacancies. If the recruiter did not add security questions to the vacancy, 100% of these clicks were converted into responses.
But if there were control questions, in 20% of cases the candidates changed their minds about applying for the vacancy (out of 52 thousand unique clicks, only 42.5 thousand became responses).
“True, there were a little more than two thousand vacancies with test questions this month (this is 15% of all vacancies with reviews). What’s interesting is that the share of candidates who responded to them is much larger: out of 36 thousand candidates with reviews, 20 thousand saw the questions, but only 18.5 thousand responded,” note Djinni.
