The new fraud alert feature is currently in limited testing. When an AI model identifies an incoming message as a possible fraud attempt, users will see a warning directly in the chat that the other party cannot see. After that, he himself decides what to do next: block the interlocutor, complain about him or continue the communication.
If the user thinks the warning is wrong, he can mark the chat as trusted and this correspondence will no longer be checked. In the latter case, he can also send the last five messages to WhatsApp management so that the alert system works more accurately.
