The development team behind Emberveil, the World of Warcraft Unreal Azeroth client and vanilla server, has undergone a major reorganization to protect the project from legal persecution by copyright holders. The creators took into account the mistake of shutting down the Turtle WoW servers and completely rebuilt the financial and organizational model.
Instead of the usual bank acquirers, PayPal and other payment systems, the developers introduced the decentralized gateway BTCPay, which exclusively accepts transfers on Bitcoin and the Lightning Network.
