Half Mermaid Productions, the studio founded by Her Story and Immortality creator Sam Barlow, has revealed new details about Project C, its live-action sci-fi horror project announced in January 2024.

As we all know, the final name of Plan C was Precognition. The game is published by UK-based Kinetic Publishing, the publishing arm of the author of Phasmophobia. The announcement also comes with video and the developer’s story.
Precognition players take on the role of Diana, who begins to experience visions of the future thanks to an experimental implant placed in her brain. The user must explore these foresights and engrave them in the heroine’s memory.

As part of the announcement, it was also revealed that Premonition’s co-writer is Canadian horror film director Brandon Cronenberg, the son of genre legend David Cronenberg.
Precognition will be available for PC in spring 2028 (steam), PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and Nintendo Switch 2. They promise to introduce a new word in non-linear narratives, emphasize freedom of movement and support 15 languages (Russian is not among them).
In addition to Precognition, Half Mermaid Productions is currently preparing for release Project D (number of floors) ——Third-person survival horror game. The game is made for fans of Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, for which Barlow is listed as a writer.
