Disney officially confirmed the development of the animated film Zootopia 3 during a presentation at the D23 2026 fan event. Animation executive Jared Bush joined actors Ginnifer Goodwin and Ke Huy Quan in announcing the return of major characters to the big screen.
The creators note that the series will cover new continents and regions, as viewers will only see a small part of this massive world. The film’s exact release date remains secret, but the author has already begun continuing the popular story.
