The developers of Hell Let Loose: Vietnam are preparing the game’s first post-launch patch. The team has acknowledged poor server performance, sound, and visuals issues and expects to release a fix by the end of next week.
One of the main tasks is optimization for AMD graphics cards. The developers have found some fixes and launch options that will help reduce the issues some players are experiencing, and are now adding them directly into the game. In the meantime, the team will continue to develop the first full patch and make wider changes.
Servers will also be looked at. In the near future, more official sites will appear in various regions, and server stability will be improved. Server lists will be updated more frequently, completely filled sites will be hidden by default, and the search algorithm will start to prioritize servers with lower pings and a maximum of 80 players. The developers have also fixed crash issues related to RCON and NVA tunnels.
On PS5, the problem of sound disappearing for a long time will be solved. But issues such as voice chat, visual quality, foliage, saving settings and controls are still being worked out. In addition, the developers explained the aim assist system: it only works when using the game controller when aiming, does not “stick” to enemies, and will be turned off if enemies are hidden behind obstacles. However, these settings are available on both PC and console, and the values are the same across all platforms.
