
Take-Two and 2K have released an update for Mafia: Definitive Edition, optimizing the game for current generation consoles – Xbox Series X | S and Playstation 5. The update is available for free in the Xbox ecosystem to owners of digital copies of the game on Xbox One, which can also be purchased individually or as an Omerta Collection version.
The first tests have emerged, showing how Mafia: Definitive Edition works on native versions of Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.

The game resolution is 1440p (60 FPS), previously 1440p (30 FPS). The test author noted that at certain moments the resolution could be higher, but in the test area the resolution was at around 2K. There are no frame rate issues – the game runs at a stable 60 FPS.

The game has a graphics mode – approximately 1080p resolution, 60 FPS. The frame rate is stable at 60 FPS. Prior to the update, games on Xbox Series S could run at 900p, 30 FPS.
