Well-known developer and overclocking enthusiast Yuri Bubliy (1usmus) has released a major update to his HYDRA utility, version 2.3B Pro. The latest update adds extension tools for NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards, removing strict software restrictions for overclocking GDDR7 memory and adjusting power limits. At the same time, the author emphasizes that this work does not require third-party vBIOS firmware, driver modification, or exploiting system vulnerabilities – everything is implemented by the program itself.

With this update, users can overclock GDDR7 memory from the standard limit of 30-34 Gbps to 36 Gbps, which was previously only available on the RTX 5080 due to its factory-limited memory frequency. When using the ASUS ROG Astral LC GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card for demonstration, its memory bandwidth reached 2.3 TB/s. Additionally, the utility lets you increase the power limit on any vendor model to 125%, whereas in the standard utility the bar is usually firmly locked at 100-110%.

It’s worth noting that the utilities in this release are currently only available to the author’s paying subscribers on Patreon, but later he plans to release all features into the public domain.
