As mentioned above, such a power plant is the first of its kind in the modern history of Russia and its power will reach 1,450 hp. and. In addition, UEC plans to create a demonstration engine and a test bed and then validate all engineering and scientific solutions related to the unit and its overall performance.
Let us recall that Russia has an engine with a similar index – the helicopter VK-1600V. Of course, the similarity of these indicators is not accidental: the new product with the letter “C” is largely built on the basis of the VK-1600V, and many units and components are interchangeable. As guaranteed by the manufacturer, the unity rate of VK-1600V and VK-1600S is approximately 60-65%.
