Co-op roguelike 33 Immortals has released a major update 1.1, which was prepared taking into account player feedback following the release of version 1.0. The patch adds the Destiny system, new daily events and quests, changes the balance of weapons and relics, speeds up meta progression and reduces long grinds.
We’re offering compensation for players who experienced save loss after launch. 2,000 Eternal Shards and 20 Paragons are being sent to affected accounts and will appear in inventories upon arrival in the Dark Forest.
The main innovation is the destiny system, which is similar to the “reputation” in Call of Duty and other games. After beating the game, players will unlock new destiny levels and have the opportunity to reset their progress for greater rewards. There are 10 levels in total, and each level increases the number of Eternity Shards earned at the end of the match by 10%. In addition, we have also modified the balance of weapons and relics across difficulty levels.
The daily activity rotation includes “Lucid Hunting” which deals 50% extra damage to awake, Bone Harvest which increases the number of bones obtained by 50%, and “Coordinated Strike” which requires 300 combined attacks to obtain the relic. Daily quests now also apply to Pride, Temperance, Gluttony, and Mercy.
Meta progression becomes faster. The first weapon upgrade is now unlocked after completing the first achievement associated with that weapon. If the player does not receive an upgrade during the match, but defeats the Boss, the Boss’s treasure chest will definitely contain the corresponding items. Requirements for many achievements have been reduced. The cost of helping other rebel souls at the Ascension Point has also been reduced. Descend now requires 20 Shards instead of 50 Bones.
A large part of the update is dedicated to the interface and other small improvements. Most notably, the starting relic bag is now given before the character spawns, and off-screen items receive an extra pointer. Notifications about discovered weapon upgrades have been reduced, fallen allies are more visible, and secret sigils have been marked on the map. A separate icon appears for armored opponents.
In addition, we’ve increased the collection radius for Bones, Eternal Shards, Healing, and Cooperative Power areas, sped up the opening of relic chests, added extra time to collect loot after the last Divine Retribution, and sped up the transition to the boss. Profiles now display weapons used by players in previous games.
The developer has confirmed that 33 Cents will continue to receive new content. We plan to introduce new relics and boss variants with new attack sets, but the addition of new worlds or weapons has not yet been announced. The next major update is tentatively scheduled for late 2026.
