Adventure role-playing game Cloudheim has released an update that adds a full-fledged offline mode. The game can now be launched without an internet connection, and you can switch to offline mode manually or automatically if the connection to the server is lost. To do this, just enable the option “Settings → Account → Forced offline mode”.
The update also introduces four new weapons, chosen based on community input. The main winner of the competition was the Rune Ring Wheel, and three other weapons – the Tang Heng Dao, the Ring Handle Dao and the Bat Fruit Dao – were selected to be part of the Chinese competition. The Rune Circle drops from the boss in the Strikestone Quarry in Greenworth, and the rest can be obtained temporarily from the boss in the Vault of the Gods. All four weapons are also available for defeating new weapon collectors wandering the island.
The update adds new items to decorate your home, including frog masks, planks, and fishing tackle. Additionally, performance and visual issues have been fixed, camera shake intensity adjustments have been added, and the ability to remap emoticon keys has been added. Players can also create a saved copy directly from the Continue menu.
To mark the release of the update, the game is discounted by 34%. Now you can buy Cloudheim for 726 rubles steam.
