New videos demonstrating the gameplay of Grand Theft Auto 6 appeared on the Internet. These videos were quickly deleted by the copyright owner, which indirectly proves that these videos are not fakes. While the release date for this version remains unknown, the leak allows fans to explore in detail many of the hidden mechanics of Rockstar Games’ upcoming hit game.
Key highlights include the return of the six-star wanted feature, a new police awareness system that detects clothing and vehicle changes, and the introduction of stamina bars and focus stats.
Additionally, gameplay showcases improved Red Dead Redemption 2-style melee combat, basketball mini-games, interactive water physics, fuel and engine status indicators, as well as morale icons and contextual inventory and storage management.
Here’s the full list of what players found in the film on Reddit:
- Automotive Fuel Mechanics.
- Mechanics of the car’s mechanical condition (you may need to take care of the car like a horse in RDR2).
- Mechanisms for storing items and storing weapons in the vehicle.
- Car damage (the car lasts longer) and paint scratch systems (scratches and sparks appear when the car comes into contact with another car).
- Realistic car tire smoke (the best we’ve seen in any game so far).
- Door interactivity (the tailgate can be closed or opened, possibly extending to the doors and hood).
- Frequent system.
- Stamina system.
- A system for cash on you and money in your home/safe deposit box.
- Sideline activities add character characteristics (“Basketball” sideline activities add “Focus” characteristics).
- Jason suffered impact injuries in a car accident (extreme car accidents can be fatal, similar to previous installments).
- The physical properties of water and objects are at different levels (a basketball rolls into a lake and floats, the water reacts dynamically).
- The vegetation is denser.
- Reflections with real-time ray tracing.
- 6 star wanted level.
- During the search, three red icons appeared: the vehicle is known, the clothes are known, and the face is known (Source: u/Powerpoo).
- Police officers sit on the side of the road measuring speeds or enforcing traffic rules.
- NPC driver actually avoids hitting Jason’s car
- An NPC riding a bicycle (bicycle).
- Improved exit animations for NPCs and Jason.
- Improved interactions with NPCs (Jason looks at the intruder NPC and the intruder NPC looks at Jason when he bumps into him).
- Greetings, provocations, de-escalation, threats – they’re back
- Improved combat animations (improved compared to RDR2).
- The leaked video is 60 frames per second.
