Sandbox MMO Stars Reach launches on Steam to mixed reviews

The sci-fi sandbox “Stars Reach” is produced by the Playable Worlds studio led by Raf Coster and Eric Goldberg. It has been officially launched in Early Access on PC through Steam.

Explore a living galaxy in Stars Reach. Discover new planets, build settlements and create an environment that reacts to all your actions. Players work together to transform a wild world into a thriving civilization in a shared universe.

In the early access version, users can choose from three paid versions: Firstlight Pack (priced at $29.99), Voyager Pack (priced at $49.99), and the expanded Cosmonaut Pack (priced at $79.99), which includes various cosmetic bonuses.

As for the reviews, they are quite modest. Currently only 56% of players recommend this new product. Players criticized the set for being too expensive, the overall low quality of Early Access, technical issues, and visual errors. As it turns out, the peak online attendance was very limited – only 697 people at the time of writing.
