Hisense has launched a new ultra-short throw laser projector, PX4 Pro, specially designed for creating large-screen home theaters. The device allows you to create images with a diagonal of 80 to 200 inches, suitable not only for watching movies, but also for gaming, sports broadcasts and other entertainment.

The projector is based on TriChroma technology and digital laser processor LPU Digital Laser Engine 3.0. The manufacturer claims the color gamut is up to 118% of the BT.2020 standard. Dynamic grayscale technology and adjustable iris lens aperture deliver detail in dark scenes and when playing HDR content.

The Hisense PX4 Pro has a brightness of 3,500 ANSI lumens, which the company says makes the projector suitable not only for movie nights but also for daytime use.

Hisense pays special attention to gaming capabilities. The PX4 Pro is the first TriChroma laser projector to receive FreeSync Premium certification. The latency is said to be only 1ms, and the refresh rate can reach 240Hz at 2K resolution. VRR and Dolby Vision gaming are also supported.

The Hisense PX4 Pro is therefore positioned as a universal alternative to larger TVs – capable of obtaining images up to 200 inches diagonally and using the projector to watch movies, games, sports broadcasts and home entertainment.
