The developers of dark fantasy massively multiplayer online role-playing game Ashes of the Uncrowned talked about the changes to the game that are being prepared based on feedback from June beta participants. The new dev diary focuses on two of the most discussed aspects of the game – the camera and controls.
Let’s highlight the key changes:
- Characters’ view and events taking place on the battlefield are now no longer obscured by scenery or tall objects.
- You can now rotate the camera using your mouse or keyboard. Additionally, a bug that caused the mouse cursor to move and click when rotating the camera has been fixed.
- You can control your character’s movement using your keyboard, gamepad, and mouse.
- Players will have the opportunity to independently choose to use mouse or keyboard movement, and the selected settings will be saved in the account and transferred to another computer.
- Fixed an issue where the time scale of change control methods suddenly moved.
- Added the ability to automatically switch character control to the keyboard if the game controller is turned off during gameplay.
- The transition from regular attacks to sprinting and dodging will be smoother and faster.
The team emphasizes that all of these changes are still in development and may still change. In addition, new development diaries will be released as work on Embers of the Uncrowned progresses.
