The new version of “Surviving Mars” will launch a new expansion pack in September. Here you can find out exactly what’s waiting for you in Feeding the Future.
Paradox Interactive has announced the upcoming release of “Feeding the Future”, a new DLC pack for Surviving Mars: Relaunched by Haemimont Games. This is a new content pack that focuses specifically on nutrition. This is the first new DLC since the new version was released last year.
In the DLC, your colonists on the Red Planet can enjoy a variety of delicacies. You can also go local or mix ingredients. This was all intended to affect the well-being, morale, health, and mental stability of the colonists.
Specifically, the official functions are as follows:
-
New buildings: From food production facilities to stylish cafes, convenient fast food restaurants and distribution buildings like the world-class Panoramic Spire Restaurant, to new automated farms and alternative food sources, colonists have plenty to choose from!
-
New colonist traits and commanders: Players gather discerning foodies and coffee lovers in their colony and search for the ever-popular celebrity chef. With two new types of commanders – the Horticulturist and the Agriculturist – they will lead their colonies to great success!
-
More options to suit different tastes: A host of new laws surrounding food, new crops and animals, new cuisines and more!
From September 8, 2026, “Feeding the Future” of “Surviving Mars: Relaunched” will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC for 9.99 euros. The DLC is also part of the Ultimate Edition and Prime Mission expansion passes.
