According to Yadro’s procurement monitoring data, in the first half of 2026, the average cost of a typical server in Russia increased by about 35% (that is, an increase of 500,000 rubles, excluding VAT), to about 2.5 million rubles. The jump is largely due to a global parts shortage as the global memory industry restructures to meet the demands of artificial intelligence.
The most affected was RAM: the cost of a 64 GB DDR5 module increased by almost 20 times (to 253,000 – 295,000 rubles), and the price of a SATA SSD solid state drive increased by 7.3 times.
Russian manufacturers face an average increase in equipment costs of 35% as key components – processors, memories and controllers – remain dependent on imports. Market participants do not expect prices to fall until the end of the year and expect configuration costs to increase by a further 15-25%.
