Mobile TCG Pokémon TCG Pocket is about to be released two years ago, and Creatures, DeNA, and The Pokémon Company are still insisting on releasing expansion packs every month. This is the next announcement. It’s not unreasonable that the game is making money faster than Pokémon GO.
In order to save Pokemon fans from being overwhelmed by Japanese yen, US dollars and other currencies, the new cards will be delivered on August 27, 2026, some of which have been shown in the trailer for the “Team Rockets Ambition” set. These include new versions of the legendary birds – Moltres, Zapdos and Articuno – an item that lets you steal items already used by your enemies, as well as cards for other Pokemon and various rare trainers, including versions with cool full art.
Alas, Jesse and James, as well as other characters from the anime like Ash Ketchum, won’t be returning, but R-Team leader Giovanni and his Persians are already in place. This applies to both the card and the accompanying cosmetics.
